Removing
1. Open the hood and support it with a stop rod
2. Circle the loop straps attached to the hood with a marker.
3. Disconnect the plastic tubes from the windshield washer nozzles mounted in the hood.

4. Disconnect the relevant electrical wiring.
5. Turn out bolts of fastening of a cowl to hinge levels, - ask the assistant to hold a back edge of a cowl.
6. Carefully release the thrust rod and remove the hood.
Installation
Attention! Work extremely carefully - the slightest mistake can cause damage to the windshield!
1. Carefully slide the hood back into place and hand-tighten the hinge bolts. Support the hood immediately with the thrust rod.
2. Align the hinge strips with the landing marks applied during dismantling, then firmly tighten the mounting bolts.
3. Restore the original connection of the electrical wiring and windshield washer tubes.
4. Check the correct installation of the hood in the body opening, if necessary, make appropriate adjustments (see below).
Adjustment
1. Close the hood and check the correct position of it in the body opening. If necessary, open the lid again and make the necessary adjustment by loosening the fasteners of the hinge bars and moving them in the appropriate direction. After completing the adjustment, firmly tighten the fixing bolts again.
2. Check up serviceability of operation of a latch of the lock of a cowl. If necessary, loosen the bolts securing the latch and adjust the position of the latter relative to the striker accordingly.
3. Make sure that the hood in the closed position is flush with the surfaces of the surrounding body panels. If necessary, adjust the position of the rubber stops by turning them.
