Removing
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
Attention! If the stereo system installed in the car is equipped with a security code, before disconnecting the battery, make sure that you have the correct combination to activate the audio system!
2. Lower the door glass to its lowest position.
3. Remove the panel of an internal upholstery and the insulating screen of a door.
4. Using the edge of a piece of fabric, carefully separate the tape molding from the door frame.
5. Remove internal glass stabilizers.
6. On the front doors, remove the guide slider.
7. Support the lower edge of the glass, then unscrew the two bolts securing the glass to the power window regulator - unsupported glass may fall into the door frame.
8. Carefully remove the glass from the door frame through the window opening.
9. Turn out bolts of fastening of a regulator.
10. At the corresponding complete set disconnect an electroconducting from an electromotor of a drive of a window regulator.
11. Remove the regulator through the special access window in the door frame.
Installation
1. Before installation, the moving parts of the regulator should be lightly lubricated with multipurpose grease.
2. Install the regulator in its regular place and hand-tighten the mounting bolts.
3. Starting at the bottom left bolt and working clockwise, finish tightening the regulator fasteners.
4. If equipped, connect the electrical wiring to the drive motor.
5. Insert the window glass into the door frame and secure it to the regulator.
Note. On Hatchback models, the rear window support is tightened first, on sedan models, the front one.
6. Slowly closing the window, check the correct position of the glass in the door frame opening. If necessary, remove the regulator and slightly develop the holes provided in it for the glass mounting bolts - first make sure that the skew of the glass is not associated with deformation of the regulator elements.
7. Install other door frame components removed for access.
8. Connect the negative cable to the battery.
