Disassembly
1. Removal of the tapered roller bearing is shown in fig. 11.51. The bearing removed from the shaft is not reused. Tapered roller bearing inner and outer races are interchangeable as a set.

2. Install the shim, axle bevel gear, pinion gear, washer and pinion shaft into the differential case.
3. Push down on the pinion shaft and select a shim that is as thick as possible so that the pinion can rotate easily. Install the selected washer on the shaft.
4. Install the axle shaft bevel gear, shim, pinion shaft pin and driven gear, and then tighten the bolt to the required torque (pic. 11.52).

5. Select a shim that is as thick as possible so that the side bevel gear can rotate easily and install it.
6. Check up ease of rotation of both bevel gears of semiaxes.
Axial clearance of the center differential gear / axle bevel gear: 0.05-0.25 mm.
