2. Measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 2 (pic. 8.15). Normal value: 2.3-3.0 kΩ at 20°C; 0.30-0.42 kOhm at 80°C.

3. Remove the intake air temperature sensor.
4. Measure the resistance when the sensor is heated by a hair dryer (fig 8.16).
Normal state: temperature (°C) - increases. Resistance (kOhm) - decreases.

5. If the measured values deviate from the norm or the resistance does not change, replace the inlet air temperature sensor.
6. Tighten the sensor up to a torque of 12-15 Nm.
