Checking the starting force of the starter traction relay

1. Disconnect the excitation coil contacts from the M terminal of the traction relay.

2. Connect the battery between terminal S and terminal M (pic. 7.16).



3. If the drive gear extends, the starting force winding is OK. If not, replace the magnetic traction relay.
