Examination
1. Immerse the thermostat in water and heat it up while stirring (pic. 5.2). Check if the thermostat opening temperature is correct. Nominal valve opening temperature: 82±1.5°С.

2. Make sure the valve lift is correct if the water temperature is high enough to open the valve (fig.5.3).

Attention! The valve height is measured when the thermostat is fully closed, and the valve height is calculated from this measurement when the thermostat is fully open.
Installation
3. Install the thermostat so that the valve points straight up (pic. 5.4).

Attention! Make sure that there is absolutely no oil on the thermostat rubber seal. Installation must be done with particular care so that the seal is not bent or scratched.
