Oil scraper ring — installation

1. Insert the oil ring sprayer into the piston ring groove.

Attention! Rings and atomizer can be installed in any direction (pic. 2.41).

2. Establish the top ring of an oil scraper ring. To do this, first insert the end of the upper ring into the groove for the piston ring and then press the upper ring into the groove with your finger (pic. 2.42).

Attention! Do not use pliers to install the top ring.

3. Install the bottom ring in the same way as the top one.

4. Check if the rings can rotate in both directions.
