Crankshaft — installation

1. Measure the outer diameter of the main bearing journal and the inner diameter of the main bearing (pic. 2.47a,b). If the difference is more than acceptable, replace the main bearing shells, and, if necessary, the crankshaft. Normal value: 0.02-0.07mm. Limit value: 0.15 mm.
