Camshaft — check and installation

1. Measure the cam height and replace the camshaft if the measured value exceeds the limit (pic. 3.32). The heights of the camshaft cams are shown in Table 3.3.

2. Before installing, apply engine oil to the main journals and camshaft cams. Do not mix up camshafts when installing for intake and exhaust valves. At the end of the exhaust camshaft is a slot 4 mm wide (pic. 3.33).
