Oil pump and sump — check

1. Install the rotor in the front crankcase cover.

2. Measure the radial clearance with a feeler gauge (pic. 3.63). Rated value: 0.06-0.18mm.



3. Use a thin ruler and a feeler gauge to check the backlash (fig.3.64). Nominal value: 0.04-0.10 mm.



4. Use a feeler gauge to check the clearance between the outer rotor and the pump housing (pic. 3.65). Nominal value: 0.04-0.10 mm, allowable value: 0.35 mm.
