5. Disconnect the wiring connector from the control unit and measure the output voltage between the connector terminals on the wiring harness side (pic. 14.36).

6. Rotate the wheel at a speed of 0.5 to 1 rpm while measuring the output voltage of the wheel speed sensor.
Output voltage: when measured with a voltmeter: 50 mV or more, when measured with an oscilloscope: 120 mV (end to end) or more.
7. If the output voltage is lower than required, the cause may be a defective wheel speed sensor. In this case, the defective sensor must be replaced.
