Checking and changing the oil in the gearbox

Level check

Having installed the car on a horizontal platform, unscrew the filler plug (1) and check the oil level (2).



The oil level should be at the level of the lower edge of the filler hole.

Replace filler plug and tighten to specified torque.

Replacement

Place a suitable container under the drain plug, then loosen and unscrew the drain plug (1) (see fig.).



Drain the oil.

Replace the drain plug and tighten to the required torque.

Loosen the fill plug (2) and fill with new oil to the specified level.

Close the fill plug (2) and tighten it to the required torque.
