The fuel shut-off valve should be checked when the engine does not start or continues to run after the ignition is turned off.
If you turn the ignition on and off, you should hear a valve click.
If there was no click, then check for current in the wires with the ignition on. If there is no current, then find the defect in the electrical circuit.
Remove the connector from the valve and apply battery voltage to the valve directly. Now it should click.
Connect an ohmmeter to the valve contact and to the valve body. The required value is 9-12 ohms at a temperature of about 20°C.
If there is a defect, remove the wires and unscrew the valve.
Screw in and tighten the new valve with a new O-ring. Put on the wire.
