Removing
1. Disconnect the wires from the battery. Remove the battery and shelf.
2. Raise the vehicle and place it on stands.
3. Drain gear oil. Disconnect the levers from the gearbox. Disconnect the speedometer cable and connectors.
4. Remove a starter and elements of an exhaust system if it is necessary.
5. Install a support under the engine. Remove the suspension elements that interfere with the removal of the gearbox. Disconnect the axles.
3.6 On most models it is necessary to unscrew the bolts and remove the crankcase housing to gain access to the lower bolts securing the gearbox to the engine
6. Place a support under the gearbox and unscrew the bolts securing the gearbox to the engine (3.6).
7. Turn off fixing bolts and nuts of a transmission. Remove the mounting bracket.
8. Check that all wires and hoses are disconnected and carefully move the gearbox away from the engine.
9. Once the input shaft is out of the transmission, lower the transmission and remove it from underneath the vehicle.
Installation
10. Install clutch if necessary.
11. Raise the gearbox and carefully place it on the engine.
12. Insert the gearbox-to-engine bolts and tighten securely.
13. Install the gearbox mounting bracket and mounting bolts and nuts.
14. Install the previously removed suspension elements, and securely tighten all bolts and nuts.
15. Remove the jacks supporting the gearbox and engine.
16. Install all elements removed earlier and fill in transmission oil.
17. Install the battery shelf, battery and connect the wires to the battery. Road test the gearbox.
