Removing
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal wire.
6.2 Fastening elements of the master cylinder of the clutch release actuator
1. Check; 2. Washer; 3. Pin
2. Disconnect the cylinder pusher from the clutch pedal (6.2).
3. Disconnect the hydraulic tube from the cylinder.
4. Unscrew the two nuts securing the cylinder and remove it.

5. Drain hydraulic fluid and remove can from cylinder.
6.6 Clutch release master cylinder components
1. Split retaining ring; 2. Pusher; 3. Case; 4. Piston; 5. Lid; 6. Clamp; 7. Tank; 8. Master cylinder; 9. Disconnect the spring from the piston; 10. Remove the spring seat, oil seal and washer from the pusher; 11. Remove seal from piston; 12. Inspect the inside of the cylinder for scratches or signs of wear and replace if necessary; 13. Before installation, wash all elements in alcohol, clean brake fluid or brake cleaning fluid. Do not use gasoline-based solvents; 14. Install the seal on the piston. The edges of the seal must face away from the piston pusher; 15. Install the spring on the piston; 16. Lubricate the inside of the cylinder and seals with clean brake fluid (DOT3); 17. Carefully install the piston into the cylinder; 18. Install the pusher and washer in the cylinder, compress the spring and install a new split circlip; 19. Lubricate the dust cap and install it on the cylinder
6. Retract the cover on the pusher (6.6) and remove the snap ring.
7. Remove the pusher.
8. Knock the piston out of the cylinder.
Installation
20. Establish the main cylinder on a back wall of an impellent compartment and slightly tighten fixing nuts.
21. Connect the hydraulic tube to the cylinder.
22. Tighten the cylinder mounting nuts to the correct torque, then tighten the tube connection.
23. Inside the car, connect the pusher to the clutch pedal.
24. Fill the cylinder reservoir with hydraulic fluid and bleed the hydraulic system.
