25.1 Remove the plug from the back of the gearbox - the oil should be at the level of the lower edge of the hole
1. There is no oil dipstick on a manual transmission. To check the oil level, raise the vehicle and place it on jackstands. Unscrew the plug on the lower rear side of the gearbox. If the oil level is correct, it should be at the bottom edge of the hole (25.1).
2. If the oil level is low, add oil using a large syringe.
3. Replace the plug.
