Removing
1. Raise the car and remove the front wheels.
2. Remove the front section of the exhaust pipe.
3. On Colt, Lancer, Mirage models, disconnect the tie rod ends from the stub axles for additional clearance.
2.4 Remove the three screws (indicated by arrows), fixing mounting bracket
4. Unscrew the bolts securing the mounting bracket and remove it (2.4).
5. Remove the suspension cross member.

2.6b Unscrew the bolt (indicated by an arrow) and disconnect the anti-roll bar from the connecting link (Galant model shown)
2.7 Loosen the bolts (indicated by an arrow) all brackets, lower the brackets and remove the anti-roll bar from the vehicle
6. Remove the bolts and clips securing the anti-roll bar to the suspension arms (2.6a and 2.6b).
7. Turn off bolts of fastening of an arm of the stabilizer bar and remove the stabilizer bar from the car (2.7).
8. Remove the brackets from the anti-roll bar and inspect the bushings for cracks or wear. Replace bushings if necessary.
Installation
9. Install the bushings on the anti-roll bar with the cut forward.
10. Reinstall the brackets and install the anti-roll bar to the vehicle. Insert the bracket bolts, but do not tighten them yet.
11. Install bushings, clips and bolts securing anti-roll bar to suspension arms. Loosely tighten the bolts.
12. Tighten the bracket bolts.
13. Lower the vehicle to the ground and tighten the clamp bolts.
